(1) According to sub-section (1) of section 22 of the Act, the Government of Nepal may appoint a team to distribute citizenship certificates.
(2) When assigning a team according to sub-rule (1), at least a gazetted third-class employee should be the head and other employees of the civil service should be assigned to that team.
(3) The team assigned according to sub-rule (1) will distribute the certificate of Nepalese citizenship under the instructions given by the Government of Nepal in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 22 of the Act.
(4) A person who is not satisfied with the decision made by the team appointed according to sub-rule (1) not to issue a certificate of Nepali citizenship can submit an application to the relevant chief district officer within thirty days. The decision given by the Chief District Officer in this regard will be final.
(5) The citizenship certificate distribution team shall record the details of the minors who have not received the citizenship certificate and the persons who have attained the age of exemption at the time of deployment of the team.
